Pleated Ribbons... and get ready for "Deals of the week"

Hello everyone! I still haven't got around to showing you some of my pics from convention - I must get around to that in the next few days, so stay tuned. Also we have a some cool specials coming up in June... in fact there will be "Deals of the Week". They will be announced first on my Stampin'Up website and also here on my blog, so keep checking back over the coming days to see what is up for grabs!

In the meantime I wanted to show you a card that I made at a workshop last month. This one was based on an idea I spotted on Andrea Walford's blog, and I liked the idea so much that I thought I would come up with my own version. Doesn't it look lovely? Very quick and easy to do. Want me to do one for you? Right now I am booking workshops to be held in June and July - and I just have a few spots left. I would love to hold one with you! Workshops are awesome fun because not only do you get creative and hopefully learn something too, but its a real social occasion. Getting together with friends is always good!

Enjoy. xx

Want 20% off? Here you go...

So everyone knows that as a demonstrator you get a minimum of 20% off your purchases right? And lots of other cool stuff and freebies, right? But right now until the end of July, if you purchase the demonstrator kit, it's 20% off too! So instead of $324, it's only $259!!! (And in there you will find more than $570 worth of goodies! How cool is that!)

You can see a pic of the starter kit here... included in the picture is the optional Scrapbooking "Add-on" if that's your thing. The best bit is that you can customise the kit to suit your style.. so you can change many of the items - the stamp sets and paper and inks can all be swapped to ones that you prefer, for the same or lesser value.

For more information, contact me at and I will send you an information pack. What are you waiting for??? :-)

Quick and Easy

Just a quick post today.. and the card was a super quick one to create too! This is known as a "one layer card" as it is simply stamped on a piece of Whisper White Cardstock. I stamped it in Versamark ink and then used my sponge daubers to stipple pastels all over the image. Isn't it pretty? And so simple. I added a ribbon and a Diamonte brad and some glitter (which you cant see in the photo) and it was done.

I'm doing this one at a workshop today. If you would like me to do one for you just contact me at to book it in. I am currently filling my diary for June and July and there are some great specials coming up so get in quick with your bookings.

Other things to note is that this week is the last chance to get in on the next Big Shot club, and I am also still taking orders for the Ribbon and Cardstock swap until the end of May. Just contact me to get in on the deals.

Happy Mother's Day

Last week I held a Mother's Day Class and I wanted to show you what we made. I designed these around a similar one that I saw on a video online somewhere... sorry I cant remember where that was. But I was really happy with the results and I gave one of these sets to my own Mum and she really liked it, so that's all that matters!

I used the Polka Dots Textured Impressions Embossing folder on the box - ran it through with my Big Shot. And then on the cards I used the Manhattan Flower Embossing folder and chalked over the top of the image so that the colour picked up on the ridges. The cards fit neatly inside the box - I made 3 of them for the set. Doesn't that look awesome? I was really happy with it. Here's a pic of the box itself:

If you are in my Big Shot club this is one of the project tutorials that I will offer along the way.. I still have a couple of places left in the club and so if that's something you have been thinking about you might need to get to it very soon as we start at the end of this month. For more details read my post here or contact me at for more info. Its a fabulous way to get your own Big Shot without outlaying all the funds at one time.
